Build crashes after compiling, only after having cleaned the cache

Hi everyone,

I've got a bit of a weird issue I'm dealing with on Gamemaker. If I try to run my (quite large) project it will build for about 15/16 minutes and then either fail or succeed. Regardless of the result the project never actually visibly runs. If I attempt to run the project again immediately afterward it will compile for its 15 minutes again and then succeed (every time from what I've tested).

Now, if I clean the cache after adding sprites, or just clean it for the sake of it...
