External load and Surfaces

Hi. I created a sprite and I put the sprite on a surface. I printed the surface and it work fine.
then I try to replace the sprite by one that I loaded externally. I printed the external sprite first and it print, so it was loaded flawlessly.
But when I put the external sprite on the surface and I try to print the surface, the sprite was not printed.
Why?
