As the subject line above states, GameMaker hangs on "Processing User" when the program is launched on Windows 11. It takes about 20-30 seconds for it to un-hang and present the IDE. This problem occurs only on my Windows 11 machine, not on my Mac Pro laptop. Both systems are running the latest version of their respective operating systems, with all the latest updates as of today.
The GameMaker version was updated yesterday to version:
